Roof jobs

Does this seem fair?
£900 for the following on our nearly 40 year old roof (3 bed detached with attached garage)...
Rake out and repointing the gable ends of the roof to fix the movement of tiles at the edges & setting all the tiles at the edge of the roof back in position
Plastic dry verge caps to make it neat and tidy (-£200 if we don't want it verge capping)
Replacing handful of concrete tiles that are cracked
Removing and replacing half of the lead flashing on the garage roof where it attaches to main house (undoing a number of bodge jobs done by previous owners to fix leaks in the area which have made the flashing prone to moving in a strong wind - my favourite bodge is where someone has entombed an entire broken roof tile in lead flashing)
No idea if a scaffold is needed, but this guy provides his own so may be absorbed into the cost.

The price is impossible to comment on - scaffolding (unlikely for much), area of repointing, access, area of lead and so on, but sounds reasonable.
I would strongly advise against plastic verge cappings - they can hide a multitude of sins, and are a give away for bodging when one views a property.0 -

Dry verge is used to replace the sand and cement so making the roof edge maintenance (no need for repointing)free so why would this be considered a bodgeif you think peoples advice is helpfull please take the time to clicking the thank you button it gives great satisfaction0
