I've won with him and I'm no blogger nor glamorous. I see plenty from the uk win (regular compers) but he gets thousands of entries from all over the world so chances are slim. I personally believe he's a genuinely nice guy. His prizes arrive the next day by DHL always with a lovely note. He only accepts 1 entry I believe and as far as I know it's totally random.

I won a big Boots perfume competition - about £500 worth - just before last Xmas and I am not a beauty blogger nor do I have glam pics on any accounts I think it's just that such comps probably get a huge number of beauty bloggers and other interested parties entering them.

Some say the timing of entries on twitter is important, as late as possible but I do think Dave lackie probably uses a more sophisticated software package to draw, purely because he does so many.
I keep his feed in my daily book marks now because he also does lots of same day comps that are drawn very quickly on his twitter account & can be easily missed. I often miss them. If you do check in on his feed once a day rather than just entering from the link you get an idea as to how many from the UK do win... he announces them all on his feed

Doesn't hurt to interact a bit now & again. He most usually reply's & is actually very likeable. You never know if it makes any difference but I do it occasionally because I like to.

I've also had a win with his friend Nina Westbury so don't lose heart. They take seconds and you never know when luck is on your side
