Highview PCN for Double Dipping now CANCELLED - YAY

I came home today to find a PCN from Highview Parking on my doorstep.
They claim a vehicle registered to me overstayed the allotted time as displayed on the signs in the carpark.
I have read the guides, and I plan to appeal, firstly to Highview, then through POPLA if my appeal is refused.
But I wanted to find out if you guys thought I was flogging a dead horse.
It is impossible to make out the occupants of the vehicle from the photos supplied.
Unfortunately, I personally have no way of proving I left and returned.
Is it possible they are being sneaky and know that I made 2 visits, but are trying to be clever and earn a fast buck?

Do you think I stand a chance of a successful appeal as I have no other proof (till receipts) of my whereabouts?
Yes...it's only little old Highview! But I wanted to find out if you guys thought I was flogging a dead horse.
You are not. Just use the template in blue writing in the NEWBIES thread and add some vague wording not implying who was driving, like:
The driver visited twice, so your ANPR system is displaying the usual serious fault that your Trade Body the BPA warns about with this technology: namely, it has defaulted to show the first arrival and last exit of this vehicle on that day. The occupants of the car were browsing in Harvey's/Benson's and we later returned and days later, completed an order which was worth £xxxx (copy order attached as proof of patronage). It takes time to choose furniture when spending a large sum.Whilst we did indeed make a purchase from Benson's, it was a week later (although it was the same salesman). had it not been for the initial visit, he might not have made the sale - and we spent A LOT.do you think I could ask them to review their ANPR logs for the other entrance and exit I made?
First things first: complain to Harvey's/Benson's and threaten to cancel the order.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I just realised, I DO have a method of proving the vehicle left and returned without breaking the posted limits.
Google Maps!
So, according to that
The vehicle left home at 08:48
The vehicle was in the offending car park from 8:52-09:21
The vehicle was at home from 09:28-11:09
The vehicle was in the offending car park from 11:17-12:23
That means the vehicle was in the car park for 29 minutes, and the vehicle was away from the car park for 1 hour and 41 minutes, before returning for a further 1 hour and 6 minutes.
So a total time in the car park of 1 hour and 35 minutes, with a 1 hour 41 minute break.
What will be the best way to start the appeal process?
It says in the letter that "you should write in the first instance to: Appeals Section, PO BOX 3573, Barnet, EN5 9QA"
But there is also an appeal option on the online site http://appealpcn.co.uk/
I favour the latter as it is quicker, but would like your opinion.
Also, could anyone help me with the specific wording for this appeal? I'm not quite sure where to start!
Thanks.

Yes but worded the way I put it because your version says who was driving - eeeeek!! APPEAL BUT NOT SAYING THE 'EXIT I MADE'!!!!
First things first: complain to Harvey's/Benson's and threaten to cancel the order.
Thank you.

Thank you - 2 questions.
Does it really matter if I admit who was driving? If I'm attaching a copy of my order it will have my details on it anyway (which match the registered keeper (and have to be me as it was put on Interest Free Credit))
Highview do not rely of POFA for keeper liability, so yes it does make a difference if the driver is identified.
Although you have probably given quite a lot away on this thread already.
You are perhaps over thinking the first step of the appeals process.
You can however and should make a complaint to the landowner as well as appealing to Highview.
With a username like yours, perhaps you should have a martini shaken not stirred0 -
I would strongly recommend NOT saying who was driving. You are the registered keeper and you were an occupant of the car, just say 'we' which keeps the driver vague. It is better in case you have to try POPLA stage.
Having said that I am loving your evidence of the double dip!
Have a read of these:

http://parking-prankster.blogspot.co.uk/2013/05/highview-parking-spurred-into-immediate.htmlWhat is the best way to complain through Harvey's/Benson's - As it's a credit order I have the 14 day cooling off period, of which I'm already 4 days into, and I don't want to cancel my order.
Phone the Head Office or go in and speak to the Manager - many of them cancel fake PCNs every week, you know, it is an irksome task they will be very familiar with (I was not saying you would really cancel your order! Just use it as leverage). You should have this cancelled within days.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you.
I was concerned that as there are multiple businesses there, that they are not the Landowners and therefore wouldn't have the clout. But I will contact them tomorrow.
And I now understand the about the "we" bit.Not as green as I am cabbage looking0 -
Your original post needs to be amended to remove information about who was driving. "not that they know that," well they do now when compared with the times you quoted.
I see they have used an 0845 number. This is now prohibited.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
Here is a wheeze, why not s tell them that you were the driver on the first visit, and your wife was the driver on the second visit. As neither of you overstayed, they have no case. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0
