Missing default

Hi - hoping for some advice really. I defaulted on a student overdraft in I think 2012. As soon as I realised I settled the outstanding balance immediately in full. This was registered under my maiden name.
I have just signed up to experian in my married name expecting the link to have been made between my maiden and married names. However only the info in my married name has been listed.
I sent my birth certificate and marriage license to experian to get my credit report updated. Which has now been done.
It has found all my previous addresses, and has also found the old accounts etc I had in my maiden name, but it hasn't found the default. I'm pretty sure it can't have dropped off yet.
I've also checked noddle and exquifax- the latter has also made the connection between my maiden and married names but again the default isn't there.
What else can I do to try and ensure my credit report is 100% correct??

I'd stop digging now and leave your good credit status as it is, why give yourself six years of grief?0

Your tactic should be to ensure that Experian's credit report about you is 100% advantageous (to you) rather than 100% correct.0

I'm intending on applying for a mortgage next year-so I want to make sure there are no surprises.
I signed up to experian before I got married and it did show on there then, but it's now vanished!0 -
I believe the default was registered in 2012 - so i was expecting it to have dropped off 2018.0

Had a reply from experian to say that they are unable to find any defaulted account - so still very confused.
I guess there is a possibility the default was added earlier than I thought. I was only made aware of it in 2013 when the debt collection agency caught up with me. Seems unlikely, but I'm going to ensure everyone has my addresses and previous names listed and leave it alone as suggested0 -
Just be honest on your application with you name(s) and address history. The rest is up to them.0

Make sure you check all 3 agencies, in case it is being reported to some and not others.0
