Electoral Roll and address format with Experian

Ok I've edited this to make it a little clearer.
I've not been showing on the electoral roll with Experian since I moved here a year ago, and have been asking them to sort it over and over. I received an updated copy of m report from Experian in the post to check if it's now all correct - and it doesn't seem to be.
On my Experian Credit report under 'Electoral Roll Information' it says 'Present Address - No Electoral Roll Information Available'.
Underneath it has 'Other Addresses'
Then it has my current address showing as on the electoral roll from 10/15-present.
Under this my previous address for the full duration I was there.
The issue is, apparently, the format of my address. I don't have a road name, so when I added my address on Experian I added it as:
House Name
Village Name (District)
Town Name
Apparantly the council have my address as:
Flat Name
Street Name
Town Name
I don't really understand the difference, but apparantly by adding another variation of my address to my credit file it was sorted out.
Under this it has my address - exactly as above but I guess the computer sees something different in the formatting and displays that I'm showing on the electoral roll from 10/15 to Present.
Obviously I'm not going to put in my address here, maybe it would help if I made one up to show how it's basically displaying EXACTLY the same text!
Say I love at Honeysuckle Cottage, Littleton, Wobblesley, AB23 4CD
I entered 'Littleton' as the 'district' as it isn't a street.
Apparantly the council are saying 'Littleton' is the 'street'.
I'm not fussed if none of this matters, but I am worried it will make a difference as its not a person checking my file but a computer system. Will the computer realise I'm on the electoral roll, or will it think I'm not?
I don't understand the issues, the other two CRAs have managed this, Experian say this is 'how it is'. I've had a lot of email conversations with a very nice lady at Experian but she's gone on annual leave (or she's hiding!) - so for now I can't ask anything else.
I did wonder if I said I'd moved and re-entered my address in a different format - not sure if that would work.
When I moved I opened an account with CreditExpert and entered my new address to speed things along, as I remember it was a pain to enter my address as their system really didn't like that I couldn't provide a road name, I'm sure it forced me to put one in, so I put the village name instead. I could be wrong though. The lady told me rural addresses often don't have road names and it can cause issues - well yea, if your system demands a name and we can't give one it's going to cause issues!
Has anyone got a clue what I'm on about? Does anyone know if my addresses will all link up and common sense will prevail? Or do I need to keep talking to Experian to get this changed? If so changed to what? And how? Would it be an idea to add my address again? I was thinking of asking Experian to add it in the same format they have on the electoral roll - then I can't get it wrong.
This all seems a bit silly. As I said if anyone checking my file sees that I'm on the electoral roll then I'm happy, but I'm worried they will think I'm not.
