Making a payment towards HSBC credit card

Hello,

my first monthly payment is due on my newly aquired HSBC credit card. I've logged in online and for the life of me cannot see any option to make a payment. Is there an automated payment telephone number that anybody might be aware of? There CS lines shut at 8pm apparently!

  • Have a look on your statement.

Easiest way will be to do a payment straight from your own bank account.

I've looked on the statement, it says to do it online or in branch. I don't hold a HSBC current account. Very awkward system, guess I'll need to give them a call tomorrow.
  • Just pay from your own current account - doesn't need to be an HSBC one.

    Good stuff.

Make sure you write the correct reference number, normally your card number, as otherwise it won't get allocated correctly to your account, or will at least be delayed.
  • Make the payment well in advance on the first payment to make sure that everything goes through fine and on time.
  • You can't pay with a debit card? Seriously? :/

i have a current account with them and so have always found cards with them to be easy, but as above.. just make the payment by FP from your current account elsewhere.
