CCTV 2TB how many days recordings will it provide

Given the lack of documentation and your inability to access parts of the kit I would suggest that you go back to the supplier/installer and ask them to supply the manuals.

You can fit roughly 3 minutes of 1080p footage per Gb.
So for one 1080p stream (if the system combines all 4 cameras into 1 image) you would get 100 hours


(Totally depending on frame rate / compression etc)


If it records all 4 streams separately then divide that by 4
Then take away some for the audio stream

Thanks, will sit down and try to work it out when I have some spare time,
I can view all cameras at once or individually and same for playback
I am actually getting 28 days of recording, I just wondered if there actually was 2TB installed, but sounds like probably is

It's a bit like 'How many balls can I get in a 1m deep hole?' - it's impossible to say without some exact specs of the balls - could be 1, could be millions!

If you're getting 28 days and decent quality and are happy, sounds 'about right'

Not as a good quality as I thought would be,but better than nothing !
