you give them your name , address VRM etc , as KEEPER
the point is you dont admit to who was driving , yoiu dont tick any boxes saying who the driver was , you do this around day 18 , if sending by post get a free cert of posting at the PO COUNTER , if online select KEEPER
dont be in such a rush , read the NEWBIES sticky thread0 -
Thanks very much for the advice. I will contact them tomorrow first thing using the methods on the back of the PCN following the advise given. I will keep everyone posted about what happens
No, not tomorrow. Around day 18 for IPC companies as explained in the NEWBIE thread. You are playing a long legal game and you need to tip the scales in your favour, well tip them a bit anyway.
Not too soon, not too late, and never reveal the driver's details. Don't be surprised or worried if/when it is rejected. It's part of "the game."I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Yes, hence the advice to wait before appealing.
The OP should also be complaining to the retailer about a breach of the Equality Act (assuming the MiL was with them at the time.)I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Good, and do not appeal too early or it suggests the appellant might be the driver if they fire off the appeal too fast. Thanks again for the help. I don't read so good so will get my wife to go through the newbie thread with me tomorrow and follow every ones recommend actions.
Day 17 or 18 is fine, about right.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
