Recommendation for a surveyor?

Dear all,
I'm in process of purchasing a new build flat and would require a surveyor to check the workmanship in the flat and especially to check the size of the flat (Gross Internal Area and balcony) to ensure that it has been built in accordance with statements made in the contract.
Can anyone recommend a good value surveyor with accurate tools to do this job? The flat is in London.
Many thanks,

Accurate tools? You mean a tape measure.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

I wanted to thank you for the links. The laser was particularly tempting. But having read some of the critical reviews, it seems the Bosh device isn't as accurate as Leica, and the latter is 100 quid. Not sure if it's worth it, hence I rather go with the 8m tape measure of screwfix.
Having received some quotes from potential surveyors for 650-900 quid, it's simply not worth it. I'll do it myself.

The links were not specfic recomendations. Simply an indication that a surveyor was not the oly way to go!0
