Credit Card Refund

Hi Guys
I bought a sofa approximately 3 months ago to have it delivered today... Unfortunately it did not fit and the company are refunding me the full amount of the sofa.
I paid on my credit card for the cashback and paid off the full amount, the refund is now going on my credit card which has zero balance on it. I assume the refund will put my credit card into, well, credit? What are my options around getting the actual money back into my current account? I don't want to have to pay a transfer fee particularly...
I have a barclaycard platinum and the amount of the refund is £3,500.
Thanks in advance!

just give them a call and ask for the credit balance to be transferred to your bank account. You ought not to be charged a fee for this as the credit is due to a refundI’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans
