Yeah, with profits funds aren't great for this. And it's difficult to see how much you're being charged exactly as the charges are not explicit. A fund factsheet should break it down a bit more though. Should be on their website.
Could you reduce your grocery costs? I highly recommend some batch cooking before baby arrives. And it'd save money too. I'm currently doing the grocery challenge over on the old style board. You could join thatFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0 -
I will have a look
groceries are something I struggle with. Definitely going to batch cook some bolognese and pasta sauces to freeze to get us through the first couple of weeks! I start off well meal planning and then am too tired or don't fancy whatever I've planned so we end up getting more shopping or a takeaway.

I made this the other day, and it was lush!http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/775643/cottage-pie froze loads too. If you had loads of choice in the freezer you could veer from the meal plan without issue.
I have a korma recipe somewhere as well which is super close to takeaway korma flavour. I can send if you like?February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

We have to pay it back sadly
We may get to keep some of it once we get childcare vouchers but I plan to have it paid into a separate account so we have it there to pay back at the end of the year.

DH salary and bonus means we have to pay it all back at the end of the tax year. It's on a sliding scale once one of you earns £50k +Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

Has your husband thought of making pension contributions to reduce his adjusted net income?
