I posted this question on the end of an older thread but have decided to give it a new thread in case the older was misleading.
After some thought I have decided to get a new computer. The one we have is not good enough for the games my son wants to play.
I have some details of a computer which I think might be suitable, could any of you please advise?
Intel 6th gen quad core I5 6600 3.3GHz
MSI GTX 970 ARMOR 2X OC 4GB GDDR5
Samsung 224DB 24x DVD Re-writer-SATA-Black-OEM
8Gb RAM
WINDOWS 10 for high end devices.
............£ 824.30 (not including monitor)
An example of the games he wants to play are:
Mortal Kombat X, Dead by daylight, Cities skylines, Planet Coaster, Friday 13th, Hitman, Battlefield 4.
I hope all this information helps.
All help much appreciated.

Key requirements:
Decent power supply and a decent wattage. Use something with a brand like Antec, Coolermaster, Corsair or Superflower. None of these will be cheap, expect about £60 for a 650w unit.
Memory is cheap, I'd put 16Gb of memory in while its cheap.
Possibly look into solid state drives as well.0 -
Thanks for that Neil, but I don't know enough to understand the tech talk.
I need to be pointed the right direction to buy something suitable.0 -

I don't think Coolermaster PSU is that good...
My top one is seasonic...0 -
That's far too much spend for an average system.
A YOYOTECH Warbird RS10 and Palicomp AMD Shockwave come in for less than that and are much better rated.0
