Do you mean that Halifax had agreed to waive any charges other than the ones that you had paid off? Do you have anything in writing to confirm this?
Obviously they applied some charges after your account was brought to zero, and then applied more charges because of those charges... so if the original charges were illegitimate then you ought not to owe anything.0 -

Hi Voyager you explained perfectly there. Yes Halifax at the branch had agreed to waiver ALL charges even the ones I had not paid off. Yes so they brought my account to zero informing myself that my account was 100% clear.. No future pendin charges.
I don't have anything in writing, but I did get this sorted in branch and spoke someone face to face..0
