Money claim online

I just submitted a claim against my landlord using MoneyClaim Online but have noted a couple of possible issues:
I put the landlords address down but then noticed that the tenancy agreement says notices should be sent to the agents address. Can I change the address online?
I have also been advised that I should have included the agent as a defendant. Can I add a defendant?
I have looked on the Moneyclaim website and user guide but can't seem to find anything on these 2 points. Can anybody advise me on here?

Hi, I have some experience with MCOL against companies. Is the landlord a registered business or acting as an individual? if it's the latter then you did the right thing and it will be served to his home address. You can put in a Director's home address if it's against a company so I wouldn't worry.
You can ask the court to add a defendant also. Just ring them up, I have found while the MCOL staff aren't legally qualified and won't advise on the case, they do assist with these sorts of issues.0 -
They are an individual sole trader landlord and the tenancy agreement says "may" send notices to the agents address rather than "must" or "shall" so I think I am probably OK. Thanks
I will ring MCOL about adding a defendant later - no rush I guess as early days0 -
I can't imagine there will be any problem with using the LLs home address, the communication 'requirements' in the TA don't really have any bearing on your claim.
Who has advised you to add the LA to the claim? In most case your claim would be against the LL, although there might be some circumstances in which the agent also has liability, but as we don't know the reason for your claim it's difficult to say whether that advice makes any sense.0 -
ssuming of course you have the correct home address.....
But as advised above, the court officials will help/advise on procedural matter, though obviously not on legal advice or the specifics of the claim itself.0
