Hi all,
We had a bad flood in our house a few months ago and are finally at the stage where it is due to be declared dry and we can have a meeting with the loss adjustor and builder to discuss the works.I spoke to the builder today and he said normally the insurance company will give us a budget so they will say we can have a certain range at howdens (which is the supplier they use) and if we want to upgrade then we just pay the difference.
My question is, does anyone have a guide to prices for howdens as their website doesnt list any? Im trying to get a rough idea of how much we coul dbe looking to upgrade. If not, does anyone know what order, pricewise, the ranges go up in. I have read the tewkesbury is most expensive but anything i find is a few years old.

The book certainly used to start at the most expensive and work backwards. And the Tewkesbury was the most expensive.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Howdens do not want you to have access to their prices because they are a trade supplier. In effect they are a trade only wholesaler. But you can ask your local branch for guidance - explain your situation and you might find them going out of their way to help. This because an upgraded kitchen should give a better margin for the branch.0

I thought they were quite expensive to be trade,

No fixed answer to this, but if Howdens wish to do so they will beat any other price. Simply economies of scale and having their own factories.
However do not confuse what the trade pays and what a consumer would pay if seeking a Howdens kitchen.0 -

We just got our kitchen installed. Tewkesbury range with no appliances. It cost, just the units and solid wood work top £6300.0
