Hi All
I moved into a new property last year which was fitted with an accenta g3 house alarm however the previous owner damaged the panel and it was on tamper lockout.
I went online and made a few enquiries before purchasing the accenta g4 panel and lcd keypad.
I took photos of the old panel and copied the wiring on both the new keypad and panel. Everything seemed to work including the bell box. However i went to set and test the alarm the other day and when i set it off i noticed the siren going off at the keypad and the strobe flashing on the bell box but there was no bell.
What could be wrong? I've checked fuses visually and through a multimeter etc and all seem to be working and power is obviously going to the bell box as it as a comfort led on all the time and strobes when set off.
Link to my panel wiring is below.

Do you get 12V across the bell terminals under alarm conditions? (blue/red)....The strobe & LED look to be fed from different terminals.
If not, disconnect the blue/red and test again.

thanks.
i'll have a look at that tomorrow.
another thing i have noticed but obviously not the cause, i opened the fuse holder on the fused spur today and it had a 13amp fuse in. This was obviously put in when originally fitted, unless previously changed.
shouldn't this be 3amp or even 2amp?
