Can someone give me some advice on buying a used Hyundai i10 as I've found 4 in my area but i'm not sure if they are overpriced.

2011 hyundai i10 1.2 Comfort, 40,000 miles, new mot on purchase, £4000, Dealer won't take any less.

61 plate hyundai i10 1.2 Classic, 35,000 miles, 11 months mot £4000. I offered £3500 but the dealer refused.

62 plate hyundai i10 1.2 Classic, 45,000 miles, 12 months mot, £3500, Bodywork has a few scratches and a small dent, Dashboard around glove box has scratches and seats look grubby from kids.

Prices all seem to be fairly consistent.

    7.5yo, 75k, short MOT - £2500
    5yo, 35k, 11mo - £4k
    4.5yo, 40k - £4k
    4yo, 45k, scruffy - £3500

Which one looks best value to you?

I haven't had a look at any of the cars yet but I want one that's going to last as long as possible. Looking at the mot's online the best cars is either the 59 plate hyundai i10 1.2 Comfort, 75,000 miles, 4 months mot, £2500 or the 61 plate hyundai i10 1.2 Classic, 35,000 miles, 11 months mot £4000.

Buy the one that has been looked after the best, you need to go and see them and look at the service history.

I am guessing the short MOT one is a private seller....I would buy that one if its been looked after properly and save the other £1000-£1500 for repairs/maintence for the next few years.
