I've gotten henna stains out before. Depending on how big the stain is, soak a washcloth or something in bleach, lay over stain and leave it overnight.0

The only things that sound like they might be deductible is a new handle for the bath, not the full cost, and someone to professional clean the tub. Not worth the hassle of arguing with friends.
I would however post on the old style forum on here, someone will know how to get the henna off. Probably something to do with lemon or bicarb and a follow up soak in bleach.
If you get desperate you could repaint the inside of the bath but its super fiddly (did it when selling my house) Overall I've had scuzzy lodgers before, you were pretty lucky! Some people just don't understand how to clean up after themselves. It would probably affect the friendship for me however.
