I need a new all in one printer, just a basic home one to do general, decent quality, printing and occasionally photos, nothing fancy but .
I do not want to pay a lot and want one with separate colour cartridges and will take eBay's compatible ink.
Up to now I have had Epson printers but do not mind which brand as long as the ink is not expensive. Wireless nice but not necessary.
I would be very grateful for any suggestions as I would not know where to start looking.
Many thank s for your help.

EPSON Expression Photo XP-760 or CANON Pixma MX495 are your best bets. Both are good runners and have decent output.0

Be wary of Epson if you are set on using compatible cartridges. Couple of occasions recently of friends who have not been able to use compatibles after software update of printer (accidentally)! as the printer refuses to recognise the cartridges.0
