No payment required?

in Credit cards
Hello.
I transferred all the remaining balance from my BoS CC to a different card. That was few days ago but the transaction is still being processed and the balance on BoS card is unchanged.
Am I right in thinking that no payment was required to clear the BoS balance? The payment deadline on the statement was today.
Thanks.

You should have made a payment if the balance hadn't cleared - BoS will treat it as a missed payment if the other bank hasn't yet sent them any money.0

Thanks. Wouldn't that be treated as an overpayment?
Should I run to BoS tomorrow morning to make the minimum payment? oh, dear...0 -
The account will end up in credit, but you can either then request a refund or spend the credit.
Can you not make a payment online?0 -
Whatever you do it will be too late.
When the transfer out was started did you not read the box saying you should continue with payments on the old card until the transfer has been processed. This is standard with all BT's I have done.0 -
Doesn't work with all cards, I had a £1400 balance on a Sainsburys card, so did a balance transfer to MBNA. This was completed 2 weeks before the payment date. However two weeks later Sainsbury's then took the full £1400 via DD putting the card into credit by this amount.0
