Hi, just entered this having read the T&Cs, I was particularly interested in this part

"You will also have the opportunity to consent to us contacting you by post, e-mail, phone, SMS or MMS from time to time occasionally about products and services which the Dixons Carphone PLC group of companies and carefully selected third parties believe may be of interest to you."

Unfortunately it appears that the opportunity to consent is the registration itself! The registration is only for the news letter so there are no account options to log into and change. Thus the only opt out option is this

"If you do not want us to use your data in this way please call us on 0370 111 6565. Alternatively, you can write to us at us c/o The Data Protection Office, The Carphone Warehouse Limited at PO Box 375, Southampton, SO30 2PU. Please note that it may take up to 28 days for such changes to take effect."

I'm on the phone at the moment and it is just their standard automated customer line. I'm still waiting......

Did eventually get through to a very nice man, very willing to help,but as my details hadn't registered on his system there was nothing he could do at the time. We'll just have to wait and see.

So as not to malign Carphone Warehouse Further than necessary I submitted a complaint to them via their email system asking to be opted out and got this reply:
