Indoor USB webcam for ceiling CCTV

Anyone got recommendations for a USB webcam that could be mounted in the corner of a room (like a PIR).
It should be white, so it doesn't look out of place and must be possible to mount it up there.
Picture should be at least 720p but the higher the better.
Also it MUST have infra-red night vision built in.
Not asking much huh?
Lots of brownie points if anyone knows one.:T
If there is an IP camera that meets all of the above it might be considered, but I ideally want multiple cameras fed to a central PC.

Does it have to be a webcam or would a suitable indoor security camera do the job?

It says wired or wireless but doesn't state if it's USB or Ethernet but you could use one of these if needed:

Honestly, for £27, this is an impressive little device

I bought one to test out - picture in daylight and auto IR. Records to microSD cards. You can watch it live on a phone or laptop (quality varies with bandwidth, but I watched over 3G at both ends, and it was still useful). Has intercom and listen modes. Surprisingly easy to set up, and the phone app is on Google Play so you don't have to side-load an APK. £27 inc delivery, it's very impressive.0 -
The Techmoan channel on Youtube reviewed this battery-powered security camera recently (it's not cheap):

How are you going to power it?
Perhaps look at Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) ...0 -
I'm sure I heard somewhere that standard webcams need a red filter to prevent them being IR-sensitive, and you can just gently remove the red film from inside the lens to make it see IR.
Just in case that's any use...0 -
A friend of mine has just had one of these delivered;

It's up and running and working fine, he's currently playing about with it to see what it can do but so far he's extremely pleased with it.One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0 -
Let us hope you have short cable runs, then...!0

It's a smallish house and all the downstairs rooms are within a few meters of the central location I want to put the monitor upstairs. Already got network cables and tv cables under the floor, so I know it'll be easyChanging the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0
