Hello everyone
I regularly (when I need to) reserve online and purchase in store of Currys.
Last year I bought a Food Processor in December 2015 and a Handheld Hoover in March 2016 (other items have been purchased too)
I have however misplaced both the receipts for only these two items and need to take them back into the store.
I have the reservation email and can prove I have bought them with the bank statement corresponding to the reservation date and price.
Can the reservation email and bank statement be enough to prove I have bought them and take both the faulty items back to the store?
I have emailed Currys a couple of times and have not had any response yet and have waited a couple weeks for the reply.
Please advice
Thankyou

Yes if you have a claim for faulty goods you're bank statement and reservation will be all the proof you need, don't let them tell you otherwise.
You won't really have any chance of a refund though as they usually send them away for repair or replacement (if it's not user faults) considering the time you have had them.0 -

Thankyou for replying,
Yes a repair or replacement is what Im after.
Is there a law/Sales of Goods Act or something that sounds legal that I can tell them so it sounds I have done research?0 -
You don't have to go in armed with any legal expertise. Just tell them what's wrong with the item and show some proof of where and when you purchased it.0

Don't worry, they know the law, they may plead ignorant to try and put you off but escalate it to a higher person if they start playing up.0

Why not actually do the research then you'll know for this time and in future?0 -

Yep, I went to Argos to return a faulty hoover as it kept overheating but the only proof I had was my banking app which showed the transaction.Dwy galon, un dyhead,
Dwy dafod ond un iaith,
Dwy raff yn cydio’n ddolen,
Dau enaid ond un taith.0 -

I normally do but I cannot do it this time round for personal reasons thats why I asked - no harm in asking is there
I did vaguely from my previous research or reading forums that bank statements act as proof thats why I wanted to confirm it.0
