I recently ordered a game online from https://www.newageconsoles.co.uk,
Ive used them before so I trusted all would be well, however after getting an automatic receipt the order has gotten no further in over ten days.
They do not reply to emails and their phone is constantly engaged. They say they take the money from you when they send the game out, I havnt had the money taken from my account but they could at any time, and because I cant contact them to cancel Im being forced to either leave £38 in my bank at all times in case they decide to take it, or left wondering If I'll end up in the overdraft without even knowing it. The site has not been updated since shortly after I placed my order, the automatic date update makes it look like it has, but it hasnt. So this is a warning not to use newageconsoles and also a cry for help... if anyone knows what I can do please help!!

Most firms (annoying as it is) operate a 'please allow 28 days for delivery' policy.
Have you tried 0800 169 8797?Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
I don't think they're a scam. they are currently selling on ebay for the past month which is probably why you guys haven't been getting your deliveries, but check out the feedback:

he has got over 1000 in the past month all positive, so i don't think its a scam, just a bit busy.0 -
How did you order? I know that with my solo card there is no risk in emptying the attached bank account if I'm worried, since they can't authorise a transaction unless the money's already present.
If they haven't taken the money yet then it sounds more like a poor buisness than a scam.0
