Which is the better of the two above, if you are not interested in football, but in other things like cycling, tennis and other sports?

Can anyone use these providers and do they both operate in the same way? Can you watch them both on a TV with a broadband connection? Are there differences in subscription costs? Does 'Eurosport' imply that it only shows sports that are happening in Europe?

Also, do they both operate throughout the day and in the evening, and can you catch up on anything you might have missed during the day, on iPlayer (or in another way) in the evening?

I would be really grateful if anyone could provide an answer to these queries. :)
