Bit puzzled at taking a "tolerant" attitude to other peoples animals "going" in one's garden I must admit....:rotfl:0 -

Damn! ....and there was me thinking I had a good idea there then.
Howzabout gorse? Would that be a risk there?0 -
Well thanks for all the replies! I will give the bowl of water a go too, thats a good idea.
I'm certainly not 'tolerant' of dogs peeing on my plants, but dont want to hurt them, its not their fault the owner lets them roam around.
By chance I was in Morrisons and they had a big bag full of chopped garlic, frozen into little 'bricks' for 50p!
I rubbed one of these all along the front of the edging, just in front of the Lavender. We will see what that does.
My eldest made me giggle, when he asked me what I was doing he said 'Mum, using all that garlic, I think you are mistaking Dogs for Vamipres' :rotfl:0 -

I find holly works just laid crisscross over the area. No need to stick it in the ground.0 -
Only if it's diluted otherwise it's destructive. It's the same with human pee.You know what uranium is, right? It's this thing called nuclear weapons. And other things. Like lots of things are done with uranium. Including some bad things.

we have the same problem & I saw in the garden centre a charcoal based product - like a pebble - which you lay in their water bowl. Am having a think about it though as it was about £12.
So I need to find out if it works first before I splash the cash!0
