Immaculate timing

There doesn’t appear to be a success thread for house & contents insurance (apologies if I missed it)

Same day This weeks MSE email hit on insurance renewal is the same day I received my house & contents renewal notice…

So, renewal quote was lower than last years but following MSE advice again improved the quote by over £260 and increased the cover as well – double win!

Speaking with the existing company (Post Office) they advised that they had scope to reduce my premium by up to £200 but could do nothing regarding increasing the cover.

I’ll just mention that bit again. The Post Office just advised me that they had flexibility to reduce my renewal premium by £200 on this year’s renewal notice. That works out at approximately 30%
