Alpharooms ridiculous pricing

Have you let them know about the 'error'? As said above, if the price of the stay has been keyed in wrong, the % saving will also calculate wrong as I imagine that is worked out automatically when you select your dates.
Dodgy practice at worst, human error at best. Sometimes we just make mistakes in our jobs.
Of course if you have informed them of the error and they haven't bothered getting it changed, or these crazy prices are commonplace throughout their site, that's a whole different ball game.
To contact them you have a choice between making a new booking or creating a support request for an existing booking. There's no option to query a website price. These prices for the Tenerife Sol have been showing as a 95% saving for quite a while so surely somebody at Alpharooms would have realised there's been a mistake, if that was the case, by now.0 -
You could always ring them, 0114 251 5070WWSD(what would Scooby Doo)0

As others have said it is just a typo, it is not false advertising, a scam or any attempt to rip someone off. The price may have gone by now or it maybe nobody has reported it yet. Let them know, they will soon enough fix it.IITYYHTBMAD0

Although it is probably a typo it is still technically false advertising as they are promoting something on their website that is untrue.0 -

Alpharooms are ABTA protected (and a host of other awards which I believe to be genuine)and I found the best deal for a particular hotel in Portugal for December stay on their site. Surely that's the best way to look at the prices-by comparison-rather than what discount they claim to give? Same as shopping for anything.0
