Laptop restore problem

Tried restoring my new hardly used hp laptop back to factory settings it took longer than 7 hours so left it over night.
It now comes up with a blue screen clear TPM press F1 = Accept Press F2 = Reject
I have tried pressing F2 as I now want to reject but nothing happens can anyone take me through this please as I have no idea what to do next Thanks

  • TPM is "Trusted Platform Module" which is basically a store of passwords and other secure data that has been encrypted and stored on the machine.
Provided that you haven't got any saved information that you need, it will be safe to hit F1 and clear the TPM.

Thanks shaun for your help it is now up and running, I didn't press F1 because I changed my mind and wanted to reject but I now realise that F1 was the only option and that is why F2 would not work. Thanks again
