    That now makes more sense my question is why cant they just be upfront about it i dont mind paying its just the way they do it
    How have "they" not been upfront about it. The information is laid out clear as day in the finance agreement.

    Option to purchase fee i remember the question been asked thirty odd years ago .
  • Definitely OTP (Option to purchase) fee. You do not own the vehicle until this payment has been made. It would have definitely been on your documentation 2 years ago. Vehicle finance is monitored closely.

    You would have been informed about this final fee. It should have been advised by dealer, but if not, it was definitely in the paperwork and the finance company will have a copy of this paperwork....
