Well done Amazon

I contacted Amazon about my 19 month old faulty slow cooker, even though it was purchased by my parents through Amazon, and they agreed it was clearly faulty and are replacing it free of charge, and I do not have to send the faulty dangerous one back.
They are even posting it to me instead of my parents! Hurrah!
Fabulous customer service, and a very quick response.
Well done Amazon! One very happy customer!
(And a big fat soggy raspberry to Morphy Richards who took ages to reply, and were not interested in a dangerous fault, even though they agreed it was dangerous but refused to help.) Their customer service was non existent and a bit like :wall:

Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

I had a good experience with them when buying a warehouse product.
It was a mincer/grater which was sold as new but with damaged packaging, at a very low price, but opening the box showed that whatever damaged the box also cracked the food hopper.
I called Amazon, who said I could return the product for a refund, as they had no more warehouse stock.
However, when I said it was a pity to lose such a good bargain, they said that if I could source a replacement part from the manufacturer, they would pay for both part and postage...which they did via a credit.0
