Doorbell

Options
The doorbell has stopped working on me.

Can't think how - as it's worked off electric...

So I've bought a new one. Will be sticking it up with double-sided tape stuff outside and it sends wireless signals to a plug-in one inside.

1. Have I got this wrong after all and there is something quick/easy/etc I can do to get the old one working?

2. I obviously want the new bell push to be exactly where the old one is. I can see the 2 screws holding it on - but, for some reason, they dont seem to be unscrewing. Add that there must be electric wire/s connecting it to the doorbell transformer unit inside the house and I'm puzzled as to how to remove the old one safely. Any hints how?

Are the screws turning? If so, just put another small screwdriver blade behind the bell push to maintain pressure on the screws as you unscrew them and that should help to ease them out.

You could diagnose the problem with the old one.
    The three main problems
    Supply
    Bell push
    Bell/buzzer.
Must be a video on line at the usual place.
