Did they search your luggage.....I mean do they search everyones luggage hoping to find a few baht?
I'm going to Bangkok in February, staying for a week, then flying to Vietnam for a fortnight, and then flying back to Bangkok.
You've really worried me now.:eek:0 -
I think any comment I make about it, could be well out of date - went to Bangkok in 1980 Hotel Grace (propositioned at breakfast!
And again in 1987 - Pattaya.
Remember using the Thai Military Bank at the airport.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -

I always have a few notes leftover when I leave Thailand - it's always useful to keep a few small denomination ones for your next trip - and I've never had a problem. Never had my wallet searched so how would they find them?
You might have a problem with hundreds of thousands of Bhat but I can't imagine having a few hundred is ever going to be an issue.0
