I've no idea what MMO stands for Addicted Saver, but as I'm 60 and female I don't need to know, lol!!!
Like you, I spend a lot of time in front of a computer screen at work, so I have invested in a Microsoft mouse which fits my small hands and is very comfortable for me, so I do understand the idea of a £50 mouse!
I think you're on the right track with your saving. If I want to spend some money I have a wish list! I go to my wish list and think about what, if any, of the items on it would please me most, be in budget, and would be sensible expenditure.
Won't be long before you have your own home, well done!!!“And all shall be well. And all shall be well. And all manner of things shall be exceeding well.”

MMO is an acronym for a few things but in the context of a £50 gaming mouse it refers to massively multi-player online.'We don't need to be smarter than the rest; we need to be more disciplined than the rest.' - WB0

Why not set a aside a small pot of savings, or a dedicated amt each month for fun and fripperies?
It will keep your main savings habit and pot intact, yet allow you to have a bit of fun or a gadget. Just a thought.0 -

I go for country strolls on on rest days, Some of us just want more out of our bodies, not trying to be Mitch off of baywatch, just trying to be the best version of me I can be.
Besides while we are in the gym we are not splurging on stuff we don't need and NEVER wasting good money on bad takeaways.

However I still think a lot of stuff aimed at enthusiasts is over-priced in comparison with the not-quite-so-good normal stuff.
I agree a lot is overpriced, but not everything. The art is selecting which are the things where paying more is worth it to you and which aren't. People will have different lists, even for the same enthusiasms.
Will you use something more than the cheaper version? Will it last longer? Or will you appreciate it more? But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

OP, I like your saving mentality. I wish I'd had it when I was younger.Pants0
