If HSBC is one of OP's creditors then they need to be aware even years later they'll most likely still say "no".
I was in a DMP myself until 2008 and to HSBC's credit they did remove an AP marker from my files two years ago but I've tried twice now (once for the account switch incentive and one for a basic bank account) and it's still a 'no-go'.
OP is your DMP fee-free? I hope so. I only ask as I foolishly paid a company each month when their portion could've gone to clearing my debts quicker.It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0
