Once again I note that a PPC ( or their legal reps) have moaned when a motorist employs the help of a lay rep, or even use advice from a parking forum . So it's all right for a PPC to use a legally trained rep (however incompetent they are), but not OK for the motorist to seek third party advice and help?

I think this points up that the Small Claims system has been perverted by various PPCs. I was led to understand that the original reason for setting up this system was for the ordinary man-in-the-street to go to court without having to use expensive lawyers. Now the PPCs have hijacked the system and use the courts as an aggressive form of debt collection, with the odds heavily loaded on their side. This is because they employ expensive lawyers and legal teams against the motorist who has very little (if any) legal knowledge and usually has to fight his corner on his own.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

Even if we win, we lose. £108 in costs is a joke, especially when PPCs doctor evidence, lie to the court, and do not turn up.

I think that the problem is that people are in awe of the judge. He is only a former solicitor at the bottom end of the Judges' pay scale. People should fight for their rights, if claimants behave unreasonably then the appellant should ask for CPR27.14(2)(g) costs. If the judge refuses go above his/her head.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
