Electoral role never seems to update

I bought my first house recently, completed on 31st May.
I registered to vote at the new address on 29th May, I was worried about it not going through in time for the EU referendum.
So we're now near on 12 weeks later, and yet none of the three CRAs have bothered to update my electoral role info. All three still have me as not on it at my current address and still on it at my old address.
3 months is surely an unreasonable length of time for this?!

It depends on when your council provides updates to the CRA. It could conceivably be up to 12 months if you were very unlucky.
So no, 3 months isn't unreasonable, even if undesirable.0 -

Thanks.
That being the case, I don't feel like its really fair that my name being on a random outdated list is considered a large factor in my creditworthyness, but I guess that's likely a losing argument.0 -
If you contact the CRAs, and provide them with evidence of your address, they are often able to put it on manually.0

Your latest address shouldn't pose an issue. Providing the previous history years are complete.0

I raised a query with Equifax through Creditexpert, and they told me the following:We can confirm that your name is supplied at your address under Rolling Register for the year 2016. However, Rolling Register does not appear on Clearscore reports.
Rest assured that when lenders run a credit check at your current address, they will find you as registered elector.
So it seems that lenders will see me on the register, and it's just clearscore that is being a bit crap.
Thought this info might be useful to others!0
