We're looking for a used, touring caravan, value £1000-£2000 preferably within forty miles of Tregaron. Could anyone advise please if there are any dealers in that area and where private sales are advertised.Many thanks.

I think that Swansea is within 40 miles of Tregaron, there is a caravan sales site in Gorseinon on the main road through. My mate bought a large tourer from Ebay. and there are usually caravans advertised for sale in The Swansea Evening Post. You may also try https://www.adtrader.co.uk

You could take a look on www.ukcampsite.co.uk. within that forum theres a section where you can buy and sell for free. very helpful site with fellow caravanners/campers.

Look in your local paper and sad as it is lots of people who were flooded are selling cheaply to raise cash, just make sure the van wasnt flooded though. Salop Caravans sell alot of tourers they are near Shrewsbury but I found them to be expensive and they give peanuts back when you come to sell-on.

Apologies for using your thread robint does anyone know if static caravan site owners can charge what they like for their rent? The one we are on keeps putting up the rent and wants a percentage of everything we do to our vans, like £30 if you get sky to put you up a dish. He keeps putting more vans on the site for which he gets paid, you would think our costs would go down as there is more people to share his costs!!
