I am thinking of getting some theater tickets for my gf for her bday in november.
What good websites can I get cheaper tickets from? I found one called theatermonkey that has good offers on shows. Has anyone used this site? Is it any good?
I am looking at either a musical or a play of some kind. Has anyone been to see any of them?

I've not bought from theatremonkey myself, but have used their seating guides which show good value seats.
I previously have bought from lastminute and seetickets with no problems.
Mary Poppins: As good as the film, if not better, if you like that kind of thing.
Lord of the Rings: Liked this, they've done a good job of showing all three books in one musical.
Wicked: Not quite as good, IMO, but I never really was into Wizard of Oz.
Blood Brothers: Absolutely loved this, moving and make sure you take tissues, hoping to see this again soon.
The Woman in Black: Bf enjoyed this more than I did. Acting was good.0 -
My favourite is Les Miserables by a long way.
Thought Phantom of the Opera was rubbish.
Also enjoyed Evita, Blood brothers, Mary Poppins, Buddy.0 -
Took my 13yr old daughter to Phantom of the opera in summer hols, we both loved it
Plus The Blue man group absolutley fabulous went as family with my 7yr old as well, 90 minutes show felt like 5 minutes - funny and amazing - but don't go with a headache as loud music all the way through LOL.
Have also seen Fame, Boogie Nights, Starlight Express at Milton KeynesJ-Lo samples were fab:smileyhea CK, Joop, Britney

this site usually has good offers http://www.broadwaybox.com/london
Another vote for Mary Poppins - it's not at all babyish and it will be finishing in January. The whole family enjoyed We Will Rock You - very loud in parts though, I could feel my seat vibrating! Fame and Footloose were Ok but would have preferred to se them at my local theatre rather than go down to the West End. Mamma Mia, if you like Abba music.0
