Ford Ka window not opening

Hi- I have an old Ford Ka (2003) with manual winding windows.
The drivers window has stopped working and I'm wondering, is this a big job if i take it to a mechanic?
Can i do it myself (mechanically stupid) :o

The window simply doesn't move when you turn the handle.

Thanks

Check if theres a youtube video on the subject, but i'd probably take it to a mechanic to sort out.

Tbh this time of year I hear the ford KA makes an excellent DIY convertible.

    Problem solved.

Think the OP might struggle with the angle grinder though.:rotfl:

I'll just find a very low bridge.

All i can find on youtube are electric window fixes so I'll pop it into my local garage and get them to check.
