Jan 2015 I got a 30 day £5 sim only contract from Virgin as part of a package dea as got broadband and landline rental too, after a few months I decided I didn't need it (felt pressured into taking it really) so gave my 30 days notice, the payment did come off by card but the card expired anyway and for the broadband side I paid by direct debit.
Never heard anything since and last few months been checking my credit rating and noticed it dropping every month, only now they have a timeline option I notice since June last year they show it as open and under "late payments"
I am about to contact the company but what to say? the sim iself was disconnected July last year as it stopped registering, and even if I didn't cancel it right it was a 30 day contract and sim is disconnected so why are they still charging me monthly contract costs)
And yes I am aware final payment comes out after but the final payment taken was for the previous month so its not that.
