Hello all, another newbie here seeking advice from this wonderful forum.

Basically, Euro Car Parks sent me a PCN today, for a 9+ hour stay in a Sainsburys carpark in Ashford Kent. It is in essence a "double-dip", the driver was there twice, once for an hour around lunch time and again late evening, but I can only assume this is some sort of fault with the cameras.

I have read the extensive sticky thread, but was feeling even more confused after that, so was wondering if any of you lovely people would be able to help me with what I need to do.

Thanks in advance for any help, I am very annoyed that this charge has put a taint on a family holiday we had enjoyed.

THE DRIVER WAS NEVER THERE ????? THE VEHICLE WAS

Another double dip using flawed ANPR cameras and that is a complaint directly to Sainsbury's as to why they allow scammers to frequent their car park. Provide receipts, bank statement etc to prove you shopped with them.

If Euro want to prove this, they can provide you with logs of the ANPR for that day ..... most PPC will not provide you this because they know they are telling a lie

Appeal using the BPA template in blue from the NEWBIES thread. That's it, stage 1 done. If you are confident you won't accidently reveal the driver's details you could add that the driver visited the car park twice thus proving their ANPR system is inadequate and not fit for purpose. (This is why councils and local authorities are prohibited from using ANPR cameras for car park monitoring.)

In addition, as already advised, complain robustly to the store manager (not customer services.)
