Why would you hope for a house price crash? Do you think it would suddenly mean all lower income people will suddenly be able to buy a home?
An economic shock severe enough to cause a house price crash in the UK will almost inevitably cause mass redundancies, pay cuts, and rises in rent....so not much chance of HPC = being able to get on the property ladder.0 -
They won't crash, far from it. Interest rates are even lower, people are piling back into the agents offices. Persimmon homes report buyer enquiries are up sharply
A crash requires huge numbers of forced sellers, our gentle manage transition to becoming fully autonomous won't create anything other than great prosperoty
