My Thrifty Ways to Save Money

I mainly shop in lidl. But I also use shopmium shopitize and check out smart apps.
I now also have to try harder with trymefree.
Also put qmee and shopprize apps on.
I absolutely hate spending more than I have to unless it's on something like a holiday.
Don't really calculate how much I save but hopefully by Christmas 2017 i will see the results..grocery challenge 9.86/600 -

If that's not an option they go straight to the chazzer.
I have given some to charity shops and given things to my daughter. I always keep what is useful to me first.I am a Senior Ambassador on the Competitions Time Board and the Old Style MoneySaving Board.

I had £12 in Tesco Club card vouchers arrive yesterday. I save these up throughout the year and use them towards the Christmas shopping.I am a Senior Ambassador on the Competitions Time Board and the Old Style MoneySaving Board.

I used my thrifty ways and bought 40 snowmen toilet rolls for £5 and 4 packs of two kitchen rolls from FF over the weekend. Even though they have snowmen on, and may last until this Christmas I will not have to worry about running out of toilet roll.
I have also started buying 500ml in shower gels, when I see them on offer at a £1. As this is normally the price for a 250ml bottle and so saves me money and I do not have to buy the item as often.I am a Senior Ambassador on the Competitions Time Board and the Old Style MoneySaving Board.

I finally managed to get a better interest on my Isa yesterday. I could have updated online but I did not want to run the risk of pressing the wrong button - so I phoned up instead.
So whatever little I manage to save will at least gain a bit more interest than it would have done.
If I had more spare cash I could have had a fixed term, but I need to know I can have access to my money if need be, that is why I only save small amounts that I know I will not have to snatch back for other things.I am a Senior Ambassador on the Competitions Time Board and the Old Style MoneySaving Board.

You are my spirit animal. Gifts make me  (unless the gift is wine!)
OH says I'm brutal, but he has that to thank for a clear and tidy cottage.0 -
One thing I enjoy looking out for when shopping is the 'reduced goods', in some shops these are yellowed stickered , but not in all shops. I love to get a treat eg a cake that I would not pay full price for. Some of the items can be frozen. I only ever buy what I can use though.I am a Senior Ambassador on the Competitions Time Board and the Old Style MoneySaving Board.

Remember to look out for all the offers on Christmas Gifts , food items and anything else that can be used for Christmas. Offers seem to disappear before a few weeks before Christmas, and everything returns to full price.
So buy those Christmas bargains now, before the price goes up or the bargain you want runs out.I am a Senior Ambassador on the Competitions Time Board and the Old Style MoneySaving Board.
