Any recomendations for single occupancy hotel in Reykjavik. I want central location, basic but clean and fairly cheap.

Try Centrehotels. There are right in the middle of Rejkavik. I think there are two of them, but they are very close to each other and very reasonably priced (although Iceland generally isn't).0
