Is a payment still covered when balance transfered

Hi, i used my credit card to pay £2000 towards my new car, i have today made a balance transfer of the £2000 to another card to benefit from the 0% interest, would any of these credit card companies still assist me if something goes wrong with the car? and i need to claim my money back?

Section 75 (your card protection) gives you the same rights against the card as the retailer.
So if you have a valid claim for a refund, you can gain it through the card if the retailer doesn't oblige.
But the period will vary. It's reasonable to expect a refund of a TV if it breaks down after 6 months. It's not reasonable to expect a refund on a fish supper if it tastes a bit funny after the same period.0 -

Statutory limitation on contract claims is 6 years from breach. So if you do have a claim, you have 6 years to make it. That doesn't mean anything is guaranteed for 6 years, just that's how long you get to make your claim.0

I dunno where your buying your fish suppers but you should shop around. If section 75 is covering you then your overpaying a little ....0 -
