Excel PCN and IAS appeal

Options
Just looking for some advice regarding a Parking fine my partner received. She bought a ticket but being dyslexic she forgot her reg number, so she entered ABC123 so it was obvious it wasn't a ticket from another vehicle. She received a PCN from Excel Parking, as her reg was picked up on ANPR cameras. She appealed via Excel who replied that they are upholding the fine and if want to appeal further then we need to go through IAS. This was the only option offered and that was via online. Now she did this but the site was hard to navigate round. IAS have come back and said the ticket still stands. We have now received a Notice of Court proceedings letter from Excel. I have since read that IAS are on the side of the parking firms in fact they are part of International Parking Committee. In brief can we do anything or has anyone got any suggestions, as she has a ticket for the times she parked at the car park, just not the right reg.

Is this a real letter before action, or is it something that says they may take her to court?

The regulars here have been waiting a long time for an IPC member to take someone to court as it will show the judge what a sham this scam is.

If you have indeed go a real LBA, then you need to read Bargepole's court guide linked from the NEWBIES thread, and also purchase the very cheap Parking-Prankster's court guide from his blog site.

there are literally DOZENS of BW LEGAL , EXCEL , V.C.S. threads on here and over on pepipoo forums at the moment regarding either LBC letters from BW LEGAL or MCOL claims from Northampton, usually by BW LEGAL on behalf of those parking companies

its read a doxen , get the gist and then play letter tennis using replies composed by GAN over on pepipoo if still at LBC stage

if its an MCOL , its read the court case threads and do the same as they are doing

so its search , read , monkey see, monkey do

Westy .... the whole IAS rubbish was designated as a scam a long time ago.

They are run by a so called firm of solicitors called Gladstones
Excel are all part of the scam and as Fruitcake says, we are waiting for these muppets to actually try to scam a real court.

Those involved in the scam include ... BW LEGAL , EXCEL , V.C.S

IF .... you get REAL court papers then come back. There are many who want to expose BW LEGAL , EXCEL , V.C.S to a REAL COURT and if they wish to try their luck on a scam, we will hear about it and expose them even further.

Rest assured that BW LEGAL , EXCEL , V.C.S read this forum, they know what we are after, will they give it to us on a plate ???

I have since read that IAS are on the side of the parking firms in fact they are part of International Parking Committee

They are, some say that they guarantee to reject 80% of all appeals.

It is for this reason that they are unlikely imo to take you to court. Present the judge with an unsigned travesty of an adjudication from a kangaroo court and he might well hole them below the water line. .

Stand up to them and I am sure they will blink first.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
  • Thanks for all advice, I will just play the letter game. I am hoping they do try and take it to court though.
