I want to transfer sterling to NZ

Hello. There are no end of international transfer services to send GBP and convert it to the currency of the country you are sending it to. However, the company in NZ I want to pay £23 do not want it to be converted and want to receive the exact GBP amount. I have searched a number of transfer sites which all seem to not give this option and all force conversion. My Lloyds bank account will do it but they want £9.50 for the privelege, which seems a lot for a meesley £23 spend. Is this the best deal I'm going to get? Any transfer site out there that doesn't convert currency? Thanks

How does this company want to receive the £23? Can they not take a simple card payment?

Why would a company in NZ want to receive funds in sterling which will then cost them to convert to NZD? It makes no sense, are you sure you or they haven't misunderstood some part of the transaction?

Assuming New Zealand dollars are permitted, I have been using TransferWise for recent overseas payments. Very efficient and low fees. Made a payment to a business in New Zealand earlier tonight and the rate was decent too. I have no affiliation to the business, I just wanted to minimise fees from my bank.

Your assumption is irrelevant as the OP wants the payment to be both sent and received in GBP.

I understood that but I was following on from your post where you questioned the OP as to whether they had misunderstood the request to transfer in pounds... :)

Ah, OK, if you'd quoted me in your first post all would have been clear :D.
