Hi
I had a delivery today from builders merchant and when they were delivering, to balance there lorry, they had put it on two hydraulic posts. One of them sunk in and has created a hole on the road, who would be responsible to fix it, should I call the council or building merchant or will it be my responsibility.

Its the builders merchants responsibility. They should have used a timber platform under the outrigger to stop it sinking in.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

It will be the builders responsibility to pay for the work that the council contractors will need to do.
Report the location and culprit to the council and let them deal with it.0 -
