You have to give them your existing annual consumption. They can then ask for evidence of this.

There is then further mention that they can transfer you to standard tariff within 7 days if you fail to comply with the "limitations" that are as yet unspecified.
If it seems too good to be true, it generally is. Eon had an "unlimited" tariff for the elderly before, called staywarm. Whilst it was true that in the first year you could get a really excellent deal, going forward once they had a handle on your consumption the price you paid wasn't that competitive. In this instance they seem to be even more keen to know from the outset what you're using, so I doubt this is that good a deal.0 -
Thank you bluebirdman, I did phone them and wondered if it was worth switching for that first year. It seems a nice thought to be able to use as much energy as you like at a fixed price.0
